This is as low as it goes, but just a wireless charger that's slower than others (10W). It'll charge Pixel phones at 11W but nearly $40 is not a good value for standard wireless charging. You could easily find an alternative for half that price, even without a sale.

To clarify, it is one of the only wireless chargers that will charge a Pixel 3 at 10w, as all other wireless chargers (except for a special Belkin one) will only charge the phone at 5w. Pixel 4 can reach 11w on some other wireless chargers.

For all wireless charging-capable Pixel phones, this stand unlocks a few special features when the phone is docked, such as a photo album feature that works a lot like the Chromecast photo album does.

FWIW- These work VERY well with the new Samsung S21 line. You get fast charging with them and they fit well against the stand. Just don't get the fancy smart hub features like you would with a Pixel phone.

I love the look of a wireless charging stand like this, but doesn't it make the phone get hot, potentially impacting the battery's long term rechargability? I mean not just for this particular stand but all of them?

I have three of these and I've never had any heat issues. The big sell for me is the Google Photos/smart hub functionality. I really like that it turns my phone into a digital photo frame while charging during the workday.

I have a love/hate relationship with mine as it not always likes to pick up my pixel phone. Even taking it out of the official google case doesn't help. But when it works, it works tho....so theres that.

This thing is $50 on Amazon and there's other brands that are $40, is this really a good deal?

I think other brands can fast charge pixel 4/5 but not 3...is that what makes this deal special?

I have two of these that I bought at $40. If you have a Pixel they're great. If you don't have a Pixel there are better values elsewhere. To wit, I've made the switch to iPhone (while keeping my Pixel 4) and this doesn't charge my iPhone 12 any faster than my much-cheaper Anker wireless charger does.

But being able to associate actions with a specific charging stand is useful--particularly "Do not disturb" for the one at my desk at work.

Pixels 3xL seems to charge much faster with this. Buying one from my home office desk. I use an anker charging disk at work.

This is a nice product. It has a soft touch silicon feel to it. And very elegant for your desk. I got this as a gift. I would get one another one, but I didn't know this cost this much.

Has anyone used this with the latest Note Ultra phone? It has a fat camera bump and slim case that creates space from the charger. I am worried this could generate heat and degrade or expand the battery over time. Does anyone have experience with this that can share their thoughts? Thanks.

agreed but you get some nice features if you own a pixel like photo display and seeing your messages. if you dont own a pixel i would look to another option. i actually have two and got them for 39.99 when they were on sale at best buy. i think they are great but a little expensive if you dont have a pixel bc you cant take advantage of the cool features.

I'm wondering if the upcoming Pixel 6 will offer the same features as current Pixels that can use this... As someone who will be buying a 6, think this is a good pre-buy? I haven't heard of any accessories for the 6 yet.
