This is a new generation of Kitchenaid dishwashers, nothing like the crap they used to sell. I know this for a fact because this replaced a piece-of-junk Kitchenaid I previously had which was horrible every which way. I was very skeptical buying another KA dw but bit the bullet given the many favorable reviews. And ZERO regrets.

Should I cancel and get that one instead? It's $50 savings but I'm not sure if Kitchen Aid is better.

Lowes says this washer has a "minimum" height of 33.63" and "maximum" height of 34.63", so it's slightly adjustable.
You'll just have to measure the height just below your counter to be sure, but it'll probably fit.
It's a very nice looking fridge (black stainless) and I like how the ice maker compartment is built into the door (thus saving a rack in the freezer), but if I had to do it over again, I likely wouldn't buy LG.
The GE I got back in 2003 (it was the cheapest model in their lineup) lasted 14 years, so I just hope this LG matches that.
I'm sure there will be plenty of people who buy Samsung/LG and get their 12-15 or so years out of it with no problem, but it's all just a lottery and the most you can do is play the rep game of going with the brands an models with the fewest complaints.

My only complaint is that the silverware holder doesn't fit the handles on our forks/spoons, but that's a minor complaint. I just removed 1/2 of the holder's grate and put the knives on one side and all others on the open side.
We replaced an older dishwasher that came with our house that sounded like a lawnmower when it was running. You can stand next to this one and sometimes won't be able to tell it's on. If you have an open concept house then that's a game changer.
