As someone who works for them, I'll add some details about uBreakiFix. We have a 90 day nationwide warranty for repairs that does NOT cover accidental damage if you drop and crack your phone. When we do repairs on Samsung/Apple OEM/Google devices such as in a screen repair or battery, we use OEM parts and adhesives, as well as press pads, so when you get your phone back it should be water resistant still, especially for Samsung's.
Fyi ubreak's paperwork tells them S8 is not included, even though Samsung's own website and their phone support confirm that it is.
End result, Ubreak won't repair my cracked screen. Samsung won't authorize a reimbursement.
Thanks Frontline workers! ๐
If you're in the socal area, I think the Hawthorne store will honor it cause the price code in their system is showing a discount of $49.99 and not a service for $49.99 but they're overriding it
I was able to go through Samsung website and actually ship it to Samsung service center for free and return shopping free too. 50 bucks for s9+ screem repair not bad. If u guys don't want to go to shop this is another way.

It probably would have made more sense for them to say "delete comment" instead but the underlying issue is that SD doesn't allow people to delete their own posts/comments, though I've never understood why.
The best we can do is edit, delete everything, and replace it with something else, which is why most just leave the word "delete." I've yet to see if the mods actually delete those or just leave them up as is.
Agreed, not sure why SD disallows people to delete their own comment. Dumb
Or free now that more than handful credit cards are offering free mobile phone warranty when bills are paid using said credit card...(ok not free, you pay $25 deductible)
Drop tests have shown that Samsung phones are more easily broken than other phones. Avoid the issue entirely by not buying Samsung.
My note 20 ultra fell out of my pocket on Mavrick at Cedar Point 30 feet in the air going 70 mph. My friends saw it fly over their heads.
I have never broke a phone so I had an Spigon slim case and no screen protector. I came back at the end of the day and could ping it on life360. They found it and 4 other phones.
Not a scratch on mine. Also a 12 pro that had a small Crack and an 11 that was shattered.
Anybody get the medical discount with a government VA email? Whenever I login mine always shows everything with government employee discounts and says I am not qualified for this deal.

Hoping for a battery replacement deal as well.
