In case people are wondering, apparently the battery like with a 4ah battery is 7hrs on high and 16hrs on low. Running the numbers if you have the 3ah battery that probably means 4.5hrs on high and 12hrs on low. I picked up two because that YT review loved the fan and he bought it at full price so if it's 5 star at $60, it's a steal at $20.

You meant 5.5 hours on high with the 3Ah battery, right?

What is the best deal for a single battery for this? I assume my Ryobi 40v batteries won't work?
40v isn't 18v so yes won't work.

Yeah, the misting fan is what I'm most interested in.
The fan in the OP is just OK. Kinda noisy and doesn't move a lot of air.
If you don't use the battery you can find much better fans that size at any Target or Costco.
I just bought the misting fan (tool only) from HomeDepot earlier this week. They finally had it back in stock. Got it for $60 + 15% off coupon. The fan is decent on its own. Haven't tested the misting function yet. Should come in handy for those 90-100 degree days in the backyard this summer.

Thanks OP. Got one with in-store pickup at a Tanger Outlets location. Not really needed but I am sure I can make use of this, and it seems a good deal with the price tag of $21.xx with taxes.
They have a ryobi outlet at those places?!?

Would this push more air than a 20 in. box fan from Walmart?

This doesn't come with a battery. You need to have your batteries and a charger to charge them as you use them with this.

Otherwise you'd have to plug it in with an extension cord.

Waiting for that misting fan to go on sale.
Me too. I found the tool only for $60:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../313313435

Normally bundled with battery and charger for $90. Anyway that was good enough for me.

$7 shipping makes it not a slick deal
Show me another similar fan for this price with a 3 year warranty.
