if you know guam airfares, you know this is a rare fare deal, but long layover in japan!!
American Airlines have round trip airfares travelling from Los Angeles (LAX) to Guam, a US Territory (GUM) for $1438, regular economy, making 1 long stopover in Japan. During this stopover, you will also change airports to/from Haneda and Narita to connect flights. It's okay because while you are transiting on Japan's awesome public transportation, you can stop for a $4.50 ramen! Or just transfer and hang out at their airports.
Note: United have a shorter layover in Hawaii for approx $300 more if you can't waste time in Japan.
Travel Availability:

But Guam has an acute snake proble. They wiped all the rodents and birds in Guam. It's creepy and insane.

Since when? I lived in Guam 10 years ago and do not remember seeing a single snake the entire time. Unless it's a recent phenomenon, that's simply not true.

my friend was stationed in Guam , 20 years , ago. And he said the island was plagued by snakes back then. Are we talking about the same Guam? looks like they started having this problem for a while and definitely more than 10 years
looks like they have about 20 snakes per acre ...Snake population is going down because they depleted their own food supply. But 20 snakes per acre is 20 snakes too much for me

I've seen the articles and heard about it second-hand, but living in Tamuning (Tumon Bay) must have been an outlier. We hiked to waterfalls, visited caves, and I went on Hash runs, but no snakes.
