What the best cartiage for painting?
The organic vapor ones. You can barely smell the paint with those.

Good for use while sanding hardwood floors for refinishing. I know from personal experience.

Not good for welding as it is too big to wear under my welding hood.

Pretty sure these type of masks are designed for painting and cutting wood, mowing the grass, sanding things like that. N95 are heavily available if you need masks for Covid. Honestly not sure if this this is any better.

The 6300 Large [amazon.com] are the same price.... we have both and the males all prefer the 6300.

I bought these on August 25, 2020 for price comparison:

$13.46 m half: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007JZ1N00/
$22.57 two pack 60923 P100: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AEFCKKY/

I completely disagree with the person saying get the large. I can barely get my glasses on with the medium. I would be swimming in the large and I am 5'8" 190 lbs.

Can I wear this outside on the zero turn and pretend I'm a TIE fighter pilot?
Yes. Then you won't even have to buy the filters, unless you want to be protected from pollen.

I just bought this last week for regular price,$31.47:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-Me.../100653900

Don't know if it's the best deal, but it said "paint" on it and I didn't have to research to piece it together.

It's a selfish mask. Only protects you… since you exhale straight out. Really good for working though
Selfish how? Not everything is intended to fight covid.

This products only purpose is to protect the wearer. For example if you're spraying stuff on your property that you don't want to breathe, this will protect you. Breathing out would be no different than breathing without a mask on your property.

Depends on the paint. P100 filter with yellow cartridge is what a lot of people wear. Or Pink w/ black (charcoal).

I wear a large but have a pumpkin head. There is a method for fitment available on the 3M site. Generally in industry and healthcare there is a person trained/certified so people do not die due to poor fitting, but it's generally easy to do yourself. Put on, make sure it's comfy, cover the valve with palm. If a person can exhale = bad fit. The real tests use artificial sweeteners and basically douse a person with the dust and if they can taste sweet = fail. Also, facial hair not allowed.

Yes, but buy the right filters/cartridges. Also, keep carts in a ziplock, as they continue to be used whilst just sitting around. I throw the whole thing in a gallon bag and carts in quarts depending on the flavor. The filters themselves are not as fussy - you know they are spent when you cannot breathe.

Should I wear this outside while exercising?
I use one for mowing the lawn. Pollen is brutal.
