I had the Gorilla and I can state for fact, this unit is lighter, and way easier to adjust.

Isn't heavier better for being more solid?

How is it easier to adjust?

Is this 11 feet when used like an A ladder?

Hey Funkmasterta,

1. Not necessarly, feet play a big part as well as better build quality and tighter tolerances.
2. I Had that Gorilla, got ride of it, night and day difference on build quality,
3. I would say so, keep in mind this is a 375lb rated ladder, crazy, lighter and easier to adjust.

I would recommend that if you are really looking into this go to HD get them both out, set them next to each other unfold, reposition, work vetically. Colapse them then carry them ten feet. The Werners build quality was far superior than that of the gorilla, but it's a little more, that's what you pay for

What's your take on the Murphy Ladders? Rumors are they're going on 50% off very soon. Especially Stow & Go Ladders seem awesome bit I'm young and impressionable ha

OP ladder is too heavy... I have a 17ft version.

May be good for commercial purpose (NOT for occasional residential use).
