Be careful when signing up for Paramount+ "FREE" trial.
Even though it's supposed to be CBS All Access' successor. The site still has bugs & glitches that need to be worked out.

I was not able to cancel my free trial until a day after it ended by then my CC had been charged for an additional month. It took numerous days to get in touch with customer service (The website form did not work) and when I finally got a response. They informed me that I was SOL.
I had to file a complaint with the BBB to get a refund.

I recall having an awful experience with CBS All Access a few years ago and it seems like their customer unfriendliness has now carried over to Paramount +. Thanks for the heads up. I will pass on the "free" trial.

This is what we do. We have Amazon Prime for shipping and Prime Video usually has deals on Starz or Showtime. Watch a season of Outsider or Homeland, then cancel. If there's a particular show that's a favorite (Parks & Rec for me), buy the series when it's on sale (Parks & Rec was $30). Oh, and use your local library too.

A little but not much off topic. Did a one month Discovery Plus SD promo last month and will say with some searching there is a host of stuff on it including Perfect Planet. Watch for another such promo before it all gets sucked into the ATT money machine with the new merger.

I am just wondering how we all get into notion of cable cutter thing few years ago, when lots of people used to pay lot of money to cable.
Then, we slowly got one, then two, then three and now everyone ending up with minimum of 4-5 to Max of 10 different streaming services and eventually ended up paying slightly less than the cable or almost same, except we are paying in 10 different places.
What a vicious circle..
