I have both. I use the Pegasus for short runs under 5 miles and the React Milers for long runs. I just ran a marathon in these and they held up great! Also just walked in these for 5 days in the parks at Disneyworld. Just buy' em!

Yeah. I do like these more but I like a padded shoe, the pegasus were clearly lighter and if my knees weren't so sensitive I'd probably have kept them. The milers are more comfortable and there is a lot more arch support. They're a stability shoe, which means your whole foot is cradled which I love but could see how some may not.

From the reviews I've read, this shoe seems to fall somewhere between neutral and stability; not a full stability shoe, but more cushioning than a typical neutral.

No they are a road running shoe. Look for a trail running shoe for hiking.

I bought these during the last sale and liked them so much I picked up another pair today. These are the first Nike running shoes I've had that weren't super narrow and offer a reasonable amount of space in the toe box.
I've been looking at this deal all week. I keep telling myself I don't need anymore shoes.
Sorry you had plantar fasciitis; it sucks!

The cushioning of the Nike React Miler is better than the Brooks Glycerin 17 and 18 and Brooks Ghost 10, from my experience. It's a bit more squishy in feel and some might say sloppy, but it provides a softer run and feels better in my case compared to the Brooks. Its no where near the level of Hoka One One cushion I've had in the past, so if that's what you're used to, stick with that.

These are, without a doubt, my favorite shoes I've ever owned. Wildly comfortable. They feel like they were made just for me.

I have wide feet. Are they pretty wide for non-wide shoes?
