I bought these during the last sale and liked them so much I picked up another pair today. These are the first Nike running shoes I've had that weren't super narrow and offer a reasonable amount of space in the toe box.

Sorry you had plantar fasciitis; it sucks!

The cushioning of the Nike React Miler is better than the Brooks Glycerin 17 and 18 and Brooks Ghost 10, from my experience. It's a bit more squishy in feel and some might say sloppy, but it provides a softer run and feels better in my case compared to the Brooks. Its no where near the level of Hoka One One cushion I've had in the past, so if that's what you're used to, stick with that.

Thank you.. I been using the Adidas Solarglides for about 6 months. Basically Ultras but more stable. When I first got them they felt good but on last few jobs definitely feeling the ground more and getting achy feet.

Get a good footbed and/or orthotic. At minimum get a foam insert for the heel to raise and support it while adding cushion - your podiatrist has them.
