if u xan snag this for less rhen a k all adjusted ...show me a better value n ill drop this !
Less tha a thousand i see value.a no brainer..also hopefully can mine as the other forum members mentioned.
Even then the brightness is only the secondary concern. The colors on this thing is also complete trash. 45% NTSC is absolutely horrible and the 35ms response time is probably the tr+tf time which isn't the worst but isn't great. IIRC, 35ms translates to around 8ms using GTG standard. This is still slower than most other panels of this price range.
Compare this to the 300 nit screen with 100% NTSC rating and 13ms response time. Instead of making this screen standard, they picked a really crappy pane to put on a gaming laptop.
And finally, Dell has the gall to increase the price of the laptop with the better screen by 3-4 hundred.
To those thinking about buying this laptop because it has good specs, please reconsider. I bought a Inspiron 7000 that had the 60hz version of this screen and the display was downright terrible. And all I used it for was to do basic coding and browsing. Now imagine buying the same screen but to play games on. I would wait for a laptop with a better screen.
Not to mention, I can travel with it as well.
