I have a weighted medicine ball that bounces. I like how I can slam it, squat, catch, raise up on my toes while lifting overhead,slam while going into a squat. Stand as the ball is coming back up and then squatting to catch.
What's the standard routine for it when it doesn't bounce? Maybe the overhead backwards throw. Run grab and repeat.
Not saying one is better than the other (bounce vs no bounce) but squatting to pick up the ball (or bending over - I've seen both) seems to be a bit more of a full-body workout than if they bounce.
