I wouldn't buy these without an apple warranty. 9 months in and I'm on my third pair. I love them, but definitely get the warranty.

My wife is 18 months in/uses daily (actually bought at least a month before for Christmas) and still on her first pair. Either you are rough as crap on your technology or have bad luck.

She may opt to upgrade to the AirPods 3 Pro if they ever release them. She's an Apple fanatic but is careful.
