is this true? i am not familiar with crypto, but saw on the news crypto value just dropped 50%. hopefully miners will give up and flood the market with GPUs. that's how i got my RX580 8GB for $100 last time.

the gpu market is massively under supplied due to chip shortage but worsened by scalpers + miners (ethereum).

the hard drive market is just now starting to take a whipping, a new crypto (Chia) that uses HDs instead of gpu is on the rise. the target is 2tb ssds + large capacity platter drives.


the price of crypto is very volatile and will remain so. the only way gpus flood the market is if ethereum crashes but that is unlikely. it is still profitable.
