Be sure to look for warranty details when buying these types of lamp. I got a similar one (different brand) and the lamp died after 6 months. And there is no warranty.

Mine arrived a few hours ago and the paperwork inside says it's a 24 month warranty. Of course that requires the company to still exist and answer your messages, but...

Is there a version of this that is Alexa-compatible for color choice/dimming and DOESN'T have China data privacy risks? (yes, I know Alexa isn't very secure either, no need to lecture on that)
Just don't install it on your PC. I read recently about some of these having crypto hacking tools where they can steal your digital wallet.

Interesting enough, I bought some LED light strips that had a control app. When I installed the control app, my old phone is now dead to a crawl.

Anyone know how many watts this is? That's a fairly standard measure of output.

Some of the pictures on this listing are unintentionally hilarious. One is advertising its convenient USB charging port with a guy laying in bed plugging in his phone. But there's no table there for him to lay his phone on so is he just going to let it dangle? Stuff it under his pillow? lol.

Another one is showing that it works with Alexa:
Lady: Alexa, turn on the light to white and set the brightness to 70%
Alexa: Fine!
Why is Alexa so sassy?

I'm not going to get this light but at least I was entertained.

I noticed one review where it was mentioned that the native app requests network username and password. I don't recall any of my wifi connected gadgets doing that. Curious if the reviewer mistook a request to login to the network, for provided credentials to an app that stores your data offshore for unethical reasons.

I'm guessing it just requires you to choose the wifi network and input the network password like every other wifi connected smart device.

Does this one swoop through all the colors or a set range?
