I've owned this monitor for about two weeks now. Best Buy had it for this price not too long ago. If you are looking for a gaming monitor to pair with the new generation Xbox, this is about as good as it gets. I have the Xbox S, so technically the 1080p is being upscaled to 1440p, but it still looks spectacular.
Perhaps I lucked out because I can't even find any IPS glow in my dimly office. The colors are vibrant and the responsiveness is immediate. I play Warzone primarily and could not be happier. The Build is completely solid with a Great balance between a Conservative Design/ and a Gamer style. For Sub 400, you cannot go wrong.

And oh yeah, I've been a slick deals creeper for about 10 years without ever posting. So be Gentle.

Is this a good deal? I'm in the market for a 27" 1440P monitor (was hoping for a curved screen though).

Let's hope this is as good a 1440p 144Hz+ IPS monitor as any out there. Thanks.

Thanks OP just got Bestbuy to price match this as I bought it a few days ago. For those wondering this monitor uses the same panel as the LG Gear 27 inch but with a slightly higher refresh rate. Have had this with for a few days and I love it, but I also came from a 1080p monitor.

I think you can get the 32" with the same specs for around this price when it's on sale, right? (S3220DGF)

I currently have 2 Acer VG271U. Anyone know how it compares in actual usage and not just specs? I do graphic work and find the colors on my current monitor to be inconsistent, ive tried calibrating and still cant get it similar across the 2 monitors.

This is meant for gaming. Even though it's an IPS monitor, there are much better IPS monitors out there when it comes to color accuracy.

As far as gaming, this is arguably the best 27" 144/165hz 1440p monitor out there. It runs a really close race with the LG Ultragear monitors. Highly recommended to someone looking to game at 1440p/144-165hz.

This is a great monitor upgrading from an older Dell 1080p 144Hz. IPS panel is the same as the LG Ultra Gear (27GL850). Rtings gave this monitor an 8.4 for gaming. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/re...l/s2721dgf

That's a 1080p TV. Not even comparable to this monitor.

Should I cancel my GIGABYTE G27Q (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1) for this?

How does it compare to the $299 Acer Nitro XV272U in Micro Center?
https://www.microcenter.com/produ...ng-monitor

rtings gave Acer a pretty good score:
