Great list. I've been waiting for Home Alone since before Christmas to drop to this price. It's my favorite Christmas movie. But then, lo and behold, there's Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and I've gotta pull the trigger on that too.

BTW, already bought The Martian earlier today.
I didn't think Home Alone would ever drop to this price, it's also my favorite Christmas movie!
The Disney home alone is 4 k. HDR and it does not look good at all. Do you think the ma version will look any better
You're talking about the 4K blu-ray? I think it looks pretty nice. Colors are better and there are a lot of nice HDR touches. There is some inherent softness.

I got $3 prime video credit but it never applies had stuff expire too cs worthless on this issue.... any ideas?
It should apply. Amazon no longer shows that on the purchase screen. Try getting the show you want and then double-check your email. You should see the credits applied in the accounting of the email. If not, you can always reverse the purchase. Good luck

None of these were filmed in 4K. These films were just scaled and airbrushed. Not a slick deal.
I'm not really a resolution/video expert but this movie was shot on a 35mm film. According to screendaily:
"A 4K digital cinema image has a resolution of 4,096 x 2,160 pixels (4,000 horizontal lines) compared to 2K's 2,048 x 1,080. Since the pixel count increases with the square of the resolution, 4K is four times as computationally expensive as 2K (and 8K is 16 times), according to facility Dneg.
It is estimated that 35mm film has a digital resolution equivalent to 4K"
