Tons of positive reviews. A lot of the negative reviews say it doesnt hold that much weight. Have a 32" cheap samsung for the spare room. Just moved and left the tv mounts, might take a chance on this.

I actually just put up our bedroom TV with it. Things get a little more complicated if your vesa mounts aren't flush with the back of the tv. Some have parts that jut out so you have to work around those. If your tv is one of those you'll need to use the included spacers.
Luckily mine didn't and the install was a breeze. Other issue could be if your studs don't line up with where you want to hang the tv. You pretty much have to install the wall mount right between 2 studs. With a a larger vesa mount that only leaves you about an inch of side to side room to play with. I had to almost cover one of my light switches because of that. Some people reported getting away with only putting the lag bolts into a single stud and then drywall on the other side, but I don't think I'd trust it with a heavier tv doing that...

I bought this the last time around its holding up a 50" hisense quantum. Its a lot smaller than the one I replaced it with so far its holding up fine *fingers crossed* doesn't tilt much because the bracket that bolts to the back of the TV is really thin and doesn't not have enough to pertrude away from the wall to give it additional tilt angle.

It's only 16.9" long so if your studs are not standard spaced you might only catch one stud instead of two, for most it should be ok though if TV is not heavy.

I have these in all my bedrooms holding up 50 inch tvs, it works fine, i mean its a tv mount, thats all. just to be clear this is NOT for CRT type TVs, you know someone will try it. also if you have a spare 3 year old laying around have them hang on it befor hanging you tv. can never be too careful.

This exact wall mount has been holding my 55" Samsung Plasma TV on the wall for many years.
It held the TV on the wall through Hurricane Laura's 155 mph winds that severely damaged the house.

I have this mount but it's attached to a stand and have to say it's a strong mount and replaced my Walmart one that was bending.

I have this mount which is different but the same basic idea. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

I hate it. Once you get the TV up on the wall, there's almost no space behind it to plug in wires. The only way that I've found to make this work is for two people to hold the up close to the mount while a third person plus in all the wires, then the two holding it put it up on the mount. Then hope that you never have to plug/unplug anything again.

I would highly recommend that you spend the extra dough and get yourself an articulating mount. Even if you never tilt it, it's very useful to be able to pull it away from the wall.
