Has anyone who has prime and W+ found the W+ to be better than prime? It's nice that there's competition for amazon, but it also gets costly if you don't use both regularly (which we don't at this point).

We use the W+ for grocery delivery, the fuel discount, and the occasional slickdeal. The prime usually gets used for everything else.

W+ doesn't include the free music, video, etc. I tried W+ for 2 months and the scan and go app never worked correctly inside Walmart (it works perfectly at Sam's Club) and figured it was easier to just add filler items to my $35 NextDay order without W+ and returning the filler item once a week when I actually have it delivered and since Walmart uses Ontrac for orders in my area I always end up with issues and it would take Walmart a while to resolve the problems unlike Amazon customer service.

Walmart+ shipping has been superior to Amazon Prime these days from my experience. Ever since COVID Amazon takes their time sending orders out. Now it takes almost a full week to receive things that are supposed to have prime shipping where it used to come in 1-2 days. My Walmart+ orders always come in 2 days or less.

That's part of the reason I didn't renew my prime the other is amazon jumped on the price gouging wagon when covid started

I have both. Prime since it probably came out and Walmart+ for the last 5 months or so. Amazon has been letting me down. Taking well over 2 days for "prime items". Walmart I can get the items the same day or next. That includes just ordering a thing of dog treats for $5. They show up via doordash within a few hours. It says 1 or 2 days but I get an email after ordering saying congratulations your order will be delivered early.

I signed up a few weeks ago - My Points gave 17000 points for year membership ($98), granted you can only redeem for gift cards, but since basically a $50 gift card is 7900 points, I feel that I received a year free.

I do not think this promotion is live nowm however, they had it before, may come back.

Yea WM+ kills Amazon in delivery!
Amazon is minimum 4 days lately on anything even stuff from the massive hubs 10 minutes away. WM+ is 2 days like clockwork with anything available at your local store coming that day or the next by Doordash. I drive DD and Walmart is HORRIBLE for us drivers but it's so nice for customers. Horrible because that delivery pays $3 flat unless they combine deliveries then it's $3 per stop. Customers have no idea DD is coming and no option to tip, nor should they, on these deliveries they didn't ask to be hand delivered.

I agree, it's not fair for customer to tip on these types of orders. Now if we do a grocery order and expect it within a time slot we should all tip. Walmart gives that option and is the right thing to do.

Prime is amazing and I've been a member since they probably started the program but Walmart + for groceries is pretty amazing, plus you can add non grocery items too like printer paper, trash bags etc.

Really helps save time from having to do the normal grocery haul since they'll deliver right to your door within a few hours.

WM+ grocery delivery will keep you out of the store forever. Zero price markup and you let a Door Dasher lug all you groceries from the store to your door. Then just toss them a fiver in the app if you feel so inclined. Well worth $5 for that and you already know you'd spent $3+ in the store on a energy drink and candy bar. Please

Like I said I'm a dasher and we all despise these orders most vets skip WM completely but they will always get taken because so many clowns are trying to retain top dasher status that requires a certain acceptance rate. Drivers also can tell if it's a .com or grocery delivery prior to accepting and know not to be expecting a tip on .com.

I have both. As others have stated Walmart is faster for me lately with delivery from dot com. Gas discount is nice. Free grocery delivery is nice although I tip but it saves me the hassle of going into the store and shopping it myself. I haven't used the scan and go.

I don't use Amazon music or video. I literally only have it for the free/fast shipping.

I like having both. Just another option and the winner is usually whoever can get it to me first.
