If people are comparing GWG to what Sony gives, that is funny. They are making the mistake paying $60 for xbox live to get these games, that is on them.
Now once GPU is no longer as discounted as it has been, I could see the complaints but if people are actually looking for a game to play and count on GWG, do a little research and get GPU for a very similar price. Sure you wont own the games, but only playing GPU games for 3 years will create a large backlog of GWG and hopefully in those 144 titles, you can find something to play when your subscription runs out.

Same goes with GWG, it is reasonable to expect GwG to have some sort of value as many don't have the time required to grind away surveys and achievements to make it free on a consistent basis.
PS+ might give out slightly better games each month, but they have to because they have to compete with the giant that is Game Pass at the moment. They're giving out Star Wars Squadrons next month... well that's been on Game Pass for well over a month already. And you didn't have to be a member on a specific month to get it, you could join for the first time right now and get Squadrons. But with PS+, if you miss Squadrons in June and join in July, well you missed out on it forever.
And don't even think about letting your PS+ subscription expire because that huge collection of games becomes nothing but box art. Whereas GWG actually gives you the games even if you no longer have Xbox Live Gold.

In the end you have found value with GPU in comparison to GWG. However telling everyone to get GPU is not a solution since most people don't see value in GPU and are perfectly fine with GWG.

About the time, sure I might spend 2-3 minutes each day doing my searches but you could have done it instead of typing your post above.... I have not spent my points since they discontinued the 1 year of xbox live and getting close to enough points to get a free series X once they are in stock. Now that takes commitment but not what I stated above.
Now disregarding that, you can buy one year of xbox live for $60, buy 3 of them for $180, then convert to GPU. OR you could buy them when they go on sale which $40 is a thing of the past but have seen $50 recently.

So no, you are incorrect. The two services are comparable.
