I have ordered Lavazza before from Amazon, and never found rocks, stones, bones nor parts from UFOs.

Thanks, I need another bag too. I only recently tried it but I do think it tastes good, as good as others that are more expensive at least.

The "better for espresso" blends seem to be more expensive to start with, so the 100% Arabica is definitely the one to get (if that's what you want, of course). I just ordered 2x2.2lb bags of Crema e Aroma for $25 from "Italy Best Coffee" (3rd party Amazon seller I've used before).

Was able to use the pay with Amex membership rewards 40% discount. Targeted. Came out to less than $9/bag for 7 bags.

Wow, this is so interesting. Neither I nor my SO (2 sep Amazon accts) have Prime. In my Amazon acct, when I SS the coffee, it automatically was to be delivered with my normal SS delivery date -- no shipping fee. Since my SO had Amazon GC credit, I told him to SS the coffee instead. But for his acct, Amazon let him SS the coffee, but it set the delivery date to immediately, and thus charged a shipping fee. There was no place SO could change the delivery to regular SS time and bypass the shipping fee. Why is this? Needless to say, I set up the SS from my acct. We both use Amazon sporadically, and again, neither of us has Prime. I often wondered why some items are SS shipping for free w/ regular SS time, and others only give you the option to get SS shipped immediately and thus will charge a shipping fee. And now it seems that for the same SS item, it varies by person/acct as well! Why?

Is Lavazza any good? My grocery store carries it but it's all pre-ground.

Got this from Costco for a few bucks more last week. Ground fresh at Costco immediately. Loving it in my Moka pot.

Just ordered a breville bambino, would this be good to start with? I have a decent grinder that will work with the pressurized basket.

Can anyone who has experience buying Lavazza on Amazon speak on its roast date? Is this one of those deals where they're trying to ditch month(s) old beans for a discount?

Nothing beats freshly roasted beans, unless you want to just practice with these beans. But if you're making a latte then they're not bad. I have the barista express for reference.

Generally I have been getting beans with a far away "best by" date, like sometime in 2022 on my latest order.

The algorithms say this person won't buy without some kind of kicker, while that person gets to pay full freight (pun intended).
