OK made the appropriate changes. I haven't posted to many deals here but i thought people split out the price and shipping but i guess in the end it doesn't matter right? All that matters is the total.

I purchased a UPS from TigerDirect last fall that had been posted here. It was a cheaper model and was listed as new. I received an open box refurbished unit that made rattling noises when you moved it. After numerous attempts to contact TigerDirect without success, I filed a claim with my credit card company. After that, I received an email from TigerDirect informing me to file a claim with the shipping company. When I tried to reply to them, my messages were undeliverable. I followed up with my credit card company and was told by a CSR that TigerDirect stated they had taken care of the issue. I reopened my claim, received my refund and have written TigerDirect off for good.

You edited the title, not the price field, it is still showing $59.99.
Also, why mention $59.99 in title at all? I would've made it like so: $64.98 Shipped

If the price is $59.99 + $4.99 shipping, thread's price field should show the sum of those, $64.98

Comparable deal to the one at Costco a few months ago for the same exact device. That one was just a few dollars cheaper. Costco return policy also has value, of course.

I would spend more and buy from Costco. If it goes bad for some reason, it goes back.

do trust and buy at costco.

i bought these ups boxes from tigerdirect compusa back in the day and they were made for mexico markets. everything was in spanish even the QC sheet. i think they had some special deals with mexican shipments. they werent for exports or for american consumers/standard

I give all batteries about 3-5 years. Some might get 7-10 pending charge cycles. It's just how sealed lead acid batteries are.. same for all manufacturers using SLA tech.

I haven't dealt with TD for a couple of decades. Back then they were worse than Best Buy in the '90s. Their reps were just full of "baloney". If you got what you expected and it worked- great! If not you were going to spend lots of time for zilch. BB has improved a good deal- has TD? (I'm sincerely wondering because they occasionally have great deals on SD.)

The ope says "Seems like a descent deal when costco is selling it at $74.99 (granted their shipping is free) & $88.95 on Amazon." Descent means to go downward, or lower (worse).

In my experience 2-3yrs since the ups always tries to keep the battery topped off so it hurts the battery life. I tried lithium batteries this last time. No power event yet though. They have 11yr warranty and cost 3x so I figure they're worth the gamble.
