-very limited apps
-very limited watch faces with oddly specific 90s themed designs, and a few semi simplistic faces.
-you can't answer calls or text, even with quick replies. Can only decline a call...
-no audio controls (Spotify or otherwise)
-the steps are over calculated (apparently walked over 600 steps on a 60 min drive)
-if you want to set a timer, that's the ONLY thing you can do until the timer is up! Can't even see the time...
-UI is super choppy.
-if you're wearing polarized Sunglasses, you can't see the screen when it's on. I mean come on...
I have quite a few other wyze products which I'm overall quite happy with. This was a disappointment, even at this price, I was expecting more.
It's a mediocre fitness band with a watch face.
TL DR: Hardware is nice, software sucks, but hopefully will be updated

I'm just looking for the basics... solid, long battery, sleep tracking, notifications, time etc.
The built-in clock faces are indeed pretty sad, but I just uploaded a couple of background pics and it's fine for a quick check of the time, which is probably the only other thing I'll use it for. If I need to check the weather, I usually want details and the hourly forecast, etc as well, so I'd just pull up the app on my phone. I really can't imagine the temp and a cloud or sun icon doing much good, so doubt I'd ever use the included weather function anyway. At any rate, it seems good for my very limited uses. Calls and texts seem to pop up on it reliably for me so far, which is my main concern. Hopefully they at least add some more options for the watch faces and font sizes at some point though. There are way too many options that have such a ridiculously large font size that the hours and minutes are split onto separate lines and then the rest use way smaller fonts ... something more middle-of-the-road would be nice.
- Where can I find 3rd party alternative watch faces etc?
- Why does the weather function never work? It always says "N/A: Weather information is not available."

Not sure about the weather problem, as I haven't seen that issue mentioned, but one potential problem that comes to mind is access to your location ... did you let the app have location data when you set it up? Otherwise, it might not know where to pull weather data for.

If it ends up going off with every silly thing that comes through that you don't care about, you may want to go into the notification settings in the app and turn some notifications from unimportant apps off. Mine is set to only show stuff that I might want to see quickly ... I figure other random stuff can wait til the next time I pull out my phone.
Save the money and buy a smart band
1. Google Hangout
2. Google voice (incoming text)
I checked around and it sounds like these two apps were not supported by Wyze Watch
Any help before making the decision.

Note: Just realized that you mentioned an android system. This is on an iPhone, so not sure if it works the same on that OS.
