This is a great deal if the tool you're looking for doesn't typically go on sale, however many of their items are routinely on sale for more than 20% off - so it pays to watch (or search slickdeals) to know if the item you are looking at is actually a good deal with this sale or not.
Shipping is $7 flat rate. Whether you get one item or ten, shipping will only be $7.
This is the link to the factory reconditioned tool at $31.99: https://www.directtools

In your case of no access to power than yes it's one of the better portable battery operated fan. I don't know of any other portable fan in the same price range that can compete with the cannon so I would say it is worth it for that feature.
I haven't claimed any warranty yet but I bought a bunch of tools and thinking it's life time warranty but It's 3 years limited warranty from direct tool outlet.
I guarantee you can find videos on how to do this on Youtube, it's that common of a problem with these (and many other) nailers.
I actually really like mine. I don't miss my old air and don't miss the $300 price tag on the more "pro" models.

I don't have anything Rigid, but from previous deals, I recall reading factory blemished qualified, but factory reconditioned did not.

I have a big self propelled 21" Craftsman V60 with a 60v / 7.5 Ah battery that usually falls a little short of doing my lawn, and is a little tough to maneuver around tight spaces (I have a bunch of planters and landscaping)
At $143 (and already owning a handful of Ryobi One batteries) I'm a little tempted to get the Ryobi just to do the perimeter around my landscaping then switch to the big V60 for the back and forth strips.
Its light and very easy to manage
The only complaint is the foam grip didn't last a season.
This WAS $20 and now the 'sale price' is $27.99.

All these price change types of posts are getting lots of TUs but the OP is mistaken.
In this one the slick deals link is for a BLEMISHED tool for $20 down from $60 I believe. The DTO link is for the RECONDITIONED tool that's $28 after 20% off.
For anyone claiming price jacking to bring sale prices higher you really need to be watching that specific tool, in that specific condition, for awhile and know what you are talking about. I do think DTO brings this upon themselves though. They appear to frequently remove and add listings besides their frequent site wide and specific sales adjustments. I believe listings do not go away, but it will not show up in results if it is out of stock completely. You have to bookmark what you are looking for to really see the base price does not change (of course you can't buy it though).
What further confuses people is we are all used to ONLY seeing a sales price. This really gives the impression DTO is adjusting the base price for their 'constant' sale. As an exampl when they do free shipping with a purchase over $25 they won't run a 20-30% off sale, it will be 15% at best but probably 5-10% off or normal prices with select sales on select items.
If you properly track one item you want that gets frequent sales this is all more visible. That tool rarely sells for it's base price, so it is almost always on some type of sale, making that the new normal price. I'm going to use big round numbers to help. If it's listed at $100 it will be on sale for around $85 out the door including shipping, so to get a slick deal you want to get it for less then that. You will see $78 on sale+$7 shipping = $85. Next week sale goes away for a few days but then holiday sale comes up taking 20% off everything making it $80+7 = $87. Next week no sales site wide but this tool is $83+7 = $90. Next week is 10% off site wide plus free shipping = $90. Finally it's a 'regular week' but this tool is on a flash sale at $70+7 = $77, but now it's sold out because you did not order at midnight. They probably put the biggest discount on what they have little left on (exception that fan for $20 unless people just gave loads of TUs but did not buy, I know I did not buy but gave a TU).
They know what they are doing. They are trying to get you to bundle with a single actual sale because they throw in a shipping fee and only buying more is how you get the best bang for your buck there. Unfortunately most people won't do the math to an autistic level to see it's just a sales tactic that works on most. Fortunately DTO's normal prices are lower than HD in the first place so you almost cant go wrong, even though the games they are playing with us do feel oh so wrong at times.

Refurbs can not.

Thanks for the input - I can get this back working with cleaning and lubrication - something they should have done in the refurb process!
