Can I do better than this for the price? Overwhelmed with options, and don't want to settle... which it feels like people often do with monitors. I glanced at a rtings review, and I think it said you may not be able to get over the glare when used in a room that has a lot of light. Also said blacks can look grey.

You get the great panel of the 27gl850-b with the awesome ergo stand for the same price. Tough choice between this and the s2721d that's on sale now.
I bought the Dell S2127DGF for $340 a couple weeks ago. Great monitor, and this is the same panel. Ended up buying a good monitor arm for it, so it was about $440 total. Might have gotten this instead, if it was on sale then, but I'm happy with my purchase.

I think bestbuy has better deal with IPS 165HZ QHD monitor.

Same panel as this, but this has a much better stand, and you've gotta be super sensitive to refresh rate to notice the difference between 144hz and 165hz.

This was a much better deal a month ago. No, it wasn't 1ms, or 144hz, but I see no use for this other than gaming, and I doubt anyone can tell the difference. It also came with more ports. It amazes me the premium people pay just because of certain words and numbers used when real world differences are negligible.

Anything above 120hz is severely diminished returns. Better stand, better HDR, bigger gamut, and higher resolution much more impactful than going above 120hz, for most use cases.

I recently bought this from eBay for $280 and I am loving it: Lenovo G27Q 27" QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS 165Hz 1ms FreeSync Premium Gaming Monitor. Still available.

I have a LG 27UK650-W 27" model. It bleeds red in all 4 corners only after one year. LG customer service is absolutely terrible. Never wanted to buy another LG product.

I think the majority of Dell monitors are LG panels. Their 3 year warranty is pretty good.

One of these days I'll upgrade, I'm still using a Dell 2407wfp that I got through SD umm 14 years ago? HA, I have another monitor I added since then, but damn this monitor has lasted a while.

Basically the same monitor. I'd go with Dell if you need two monitors and you have the $120 off $600 Amex deal

400 is fine for a 27" IPS with these specs, but be warned that the stand, while good, is proprietary to LG monitors.
