You pay a fee for global entry/TSA pre check, (forgot how much) using this card, and they will credit you upto such amount, or $100

If you travel lots, you get in/out airport fast security and immigration.

But interview is needed first before the approval

The 50,000 points plus any additional points earned can be redeemed for cash back and you can provide your checking account routing and account number for direct deposit and cashback needs to be in $25 increments.

He's referring to his credit limit.

After the first year, is there an option to downgrade to a no annual fee card?

$95 annual fee after first year (unless you close it, I assume - which I believe will hit your credit rating slightly).

No foreign transactions fees for purchases made outside the US. That's a nice perk for those who do a lot of international travel. That annual fee is still a pretty big negative, though.

Yes, always for US bank but it needs to be increments of 2,500 points.
