The CPU has graphic capability but motherboard does not have a physical connector for monitor.

The cheapest RTX 3060 on eBay is a pre owned card for $875.

I recently sold an evga 3060 for $900. So yeah, its a good deal.

Estimated Ship date is 6/18 for anyone wondering. HP has been known to push back dates though so YMMV on actually getting it in June.

Its also likely you get the new LHR version of the 3060, so folks should be aware that the card will likely have the newer Eth limiter that cant be bypassed. As such I would expect the resale value of that 3060 to be much less than ones currently available that are not LHR.

The memorial day sale is live, so you don't have to pad the order. The code HP21MD5 will work on the base configurations since they are all over 599. I will let everyone do the math for themselves...since this will be frontpage assuming inventory holds.

Yes, That's working as well; just checked. I will add that as note to my post. Thanks for pointing that out.
Edit: You can use HP21MD10 here on my spec to get final price of $908.99 which will give you twice the SSD and 400W PSU over 310W. I will recommend you to follow that root because 310W PSU may be a limiting factor in future upgrades.

No, it's slightly lower performing chip, especially on gaming. But it needs lot less power and you can overclock it pretty easily to improve performance.

In general the last two generation ryzen chips can be overclocked to be significantly faster than their intel counterparts, all while using less power. Non-overclocked Intel chips run closer to their max speed and power limits and have a lot less headroom for overclocking. They also require larger, more expensive cooling solutions to prevent them from thermal throttling.
