I received at email to restart my Paramount Plus subscription with a 50% off coupon code for the next two months. I tried it on there annual subscription and it seems to work also. The $59.99 became $29.99 and the $99.99 was showing up $49.99.
The coupon Code I used is 50OFF4YOU
50OFF4YOU

I went with the $59.99 plan and my credit card was charged $29.99.

Hopefully others can make use of it as well.

So here's my situation...

I applied the coupon and upgraded to the annual plan. Here's what it said on the website:

Paramount+ Plan Commercial Free (Annual)
Price - $99.99/year
Discount - 50% off 2 Months
Next Billing Date - May 30th, 2022

I verified that 99.99 was being held on my card so I called to see. The rep was nice and said that the code was applied and what will happen is basically it will create a new billing cycle. Instead of May 30, 2021 - May 30, 2022, my next billing cycle will be pushed out to July 30, 2022 to account for the two free months.

So for the people that got billed 49.95, congrats! I wasn't as lucky. I'll take the two months, but still, kinda a bummer.

Add 5$ off from Amex. Makes it a sweet deal!
How do you get that?

Ok, so I just did the commercial free version.
The email said it would charge me $99 today and get 50% off for two months.
I have been refreshing my credit card online and it was just hit with a $52 charge from Paramount.
So it looks like the discount worked.
I'm a little concerned that they have the option to correct the mistake since everything says $99.
It doesn't work. These targeted emails are not for the world.

Thanks. As simple as that. Thought it was one of those deals that you had to jump through all sorts of loops to get the discount. I assume then if I use my Amex the credit will be in my Amex account and not in the Paramount account.

The Champions League Show was miserable to watch because of the insane amount commericals today.
I thought live games they wouldn't inject commercials, that is sadly good to know they do and maybe worth getting the commercial free service to avoid the frustration of missing a goal due to a commercial. Just curious, how many in total and were the commercials inserted randomly or during times when it was acceptable?

Yes. They're contracted to carry it through the 2023 - 2024 season

Was anyone else able to get this to work?
I added the coupon to my existing account and changed to annual and it said $99 for the year but I was only charged $49 on the actual bill and I have it until May 30,2022 if that helps!

For those hoping for the "1 year for $59.99" - effective June 7th, they'll have a $5/mo plan that does NOT include live-local CBS broadcast (if you have an antenna, it will make little difference).

I'll personally wait for a $0.99 /mo plan around Black Friday, if it comes around. Honestly, Hulu is barely worth the $1.99 I got it at.
do u know if that means we can't get Soccer games as they're live on this plan?

How do you rank them like that? Originals? Total number of movies?
If it's not originals, the content is often shifting.
sorry, there was a little context missing there— this was in regards to the interface/reliability issues. Basically this was the rank by lack of issues (anecdotally).

generally with cash back or reward deals that are that specific, you have to find the offer in your CC account and "add" them to your account. I have cash back offers available through chase, but I don't think I have seen the paramount offer on my Amex. Forgive me if I'm mistaken.
