What are my plan options starting on June 7th?
On June 7th, the current Limited Commercials plan will be discontinued, and the Essential plan - a new $4.99/month plan that does not include access to your local live CBS channel - will be introduced.
If you're currently a Limited Commercials subscriber, this won't affect you UNLESS you cancel and resubscribe after June 7th. If you cancel and resubscribe after that, you'll only be able to choose between the Essential plan that does not include your live local CBS channel, or the existing Commercial Free.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the new Essential plan does NOT include your local live CBS channel, while your current Limited Commercials plan DOES include your local live CBS channel.

I applied the coupon and upgraded to the annual plan. Here's what it said on the website:

Price - $99.99/year
Discount - 50% off 2 Months
Next Billing Date - May 30th, 2022
I verified that 99.99 was being held on my card so I called to see. The rep was nice and said that the code was applied and what will happen is basically it will create a new billing cycle. Instead of May 30, 2021 - May 30, 2022, my next billing cycle will be pushed out to July 30, 2022 to account for the two free months.
So for the people that got billed 49.95, congrats! I wasn't as lucky. I'll take the two months, but still, kinda a bummer.
Just curious as to why they are changing their promotion (even more) and just letting people know if they happen call in.
Context: CBSAA often had buffering issues AND it wouldn't support surround sound. Whereas, going through Amazon provided the seamless experience with 5.1 surround sound.

s long as you cancel your annual subscription within 7 days of placing the order, they won't charge you at all. The guy I spoke to was very nice and it was all resolved in five minutes.
If you're a fan of the show SEAL TEAM it's going to be on P+ starting in the fall, so to me that plus everything else is definitely worth it as long as its commercial free.
Also, I saw some mentioning hulu is only worth 1.99, not to me. I pay the full no commercials, and am always happy w/ it. I can watch a lot of tv shows the next day (or whenever), and has some good older shows as well as movies. It's not hard to find something to watch.
