Here's a very good, in depth review of this exact Dell G15 5510 laptop.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaloTlgCguI

And here's a review of the Lenovo Legion 5 with the same RTX 3060 but at 130 watts, and a Ryzen 5800H

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rU3l-zQk40I

In relative overall gaming performance, you get like 5% more gaming performance going from a i7-108750H with a 90 watt 3060 to a Ryzen 5800H with a 130 watt 3060, according to the review. Not really worth the added heat, and money in my opinion. The pure CPU bench scores are a bit higher though on the Ryzen G15. I'd definitely save the cash, and go with this much cheaper G15 intel model. Hope this helps!

The Ryzen version is like $245 more. I do hear it runs a lot hotter though too. But the Ryzen G15 does have a better 300 nit screen. I wouldn't say the Core i7-10870H is old. It came out in late 2020.

Would be super slick if it were Ryzen but that i7 is pretty old at this point. Still a good deal.

I ordered the same one from the last deal. The screen is horrible and the build feels cheap. They keyboard is quite nice, and its completely silent on idle.

The GPU is 90W according to Nvidia control panel.

Thanks for commenting. I never use my laptop outside in daylight. Is the brightness good enough in darker rooms?
