they are not comparable lenses, they have totally different purposes, so without context no one can give u suggestions

The sigma 18-35 is a wide-medium zoom for aps-c cameras
this tokina is an ultrawide-wide zoom for full frame cameras

Anybody try this lens with the EF to E-mount adapter? Can't find much online about using the MC-11 adapter with this one.

I just got the 17-28mm Tamron for FE mount. I got it primarily for astro and landscapes, but it's it's good for general walkabout as well.

Post is incorrect, for the Nikon lens it's $599. I would've jumped on this to use on my d850 at $499....

Sad times for Nikon as the company continues plummeting and great deals for their gear and third party can't be found anymore like once was, well except for the used market anyhow.

Anyone have any experience between this and the wide angle Canon L glass? Is it worth the cost savings in terms of sharpness, etc.?

This lens or a used Canon 17-40 L F/4 for the same price? Have the Canon available from a friend, I know it's been taken good care of and is in great shape.
