Got these last time they were on sale. The bamboo handle has a nice weight and texture, but the blades themselves are pretty bad. Somewhere between "Bic disposable" and "cheese grater". So many nicks and cuts.

To each his own but these are my favorite blades and I've tried them all at one point or another. Mach 3, Quattro, Fusion, Harry's, 'Defender', store brands, disposables, ect. I was a Fusion user for years and I think these are comparable. They're night and day better than any Schick or any of the one-off brands online.

Thanks for the input. I was going to skip them, but will probably give them a shot now. The online ratings I read seemed mostly positive too. I wonder if they source from multiple locations that aren't all up to par or don't have the greatest quality control and sometimes bad batches go out. I kind of think that's what went on with Dorco back in the day ... I mostly had great luck with their blades, but I would see completely opposite opinions sometimes and once, I ended up with a batch that wasn't great myself.
Don't waste your time or money buying "Deals" from Walgreens. They always cancel your order. 0/10 never ONCE had an order fulfilled that I bought through Slickeals.
These deals are not real and are literally just ads to get you on their website or in their store.
I think it hugely depends on your shop. Mine fulfilled all orders so far and was pretty quick about it too. So YMMV.

Agreed, my deals all go through and are ready for pickup fast... I always do my walk around to see what's discounted then pick up my order. Works out great!

Keep in mind that you can also "clip" the online coupon and then get the discount when you buy it in-store if you enter your rewards number at the checkout. And if you're in an area where sales go quick, it might be best to try stopping by mid-week, as supplies can go quick on the weekends.
Thanks, I am using Harry they are also very average, but I started growing beard for last 3-4 years, so shaving only a small portion so Harry's is what I am using occasionally. I got this to try it out. But, when I try to order refill blades the $4 coupon disappeared.

It's a one time use coupon. If you got the razor you can't use it for the cartridges, and vice versa.
I got the razor cause it's worth trying for $2. By my experience Walgreens coupons rotate pretty often and you can expect the same coupon to come around in a month or two. The next time they have the same coupon I'll pick up the cartridges.
I see some people here creating duplicate accounts to pick up both items. But I wouldn't recommend it myself. I tried to create a duplicate account some time back and their system recognized it as a duplicate account. It tried to merge both accounts and fixing it was a pain. Not worth it (especially not for this deal.)

Yes, I read it a comment or two about creating a duplicate account, I didn't even try it, it's a pain I know. I got the Handle and it comes with one blade, with my usage, it will take at least 3-4 weeks before it goes dull, so I will wait for another deal to get refill cartridges.
I got the razor yesterday and used it this morning. I shave my head everyday and since hair on the head is generally thicker than hair on the face, I run out of cartridges or blades pretty quickly. And so I am always interested in trying different shaving products.
Based on my experience this morning - do NOT waste your time with this razor. The cartridge is very very bad. Another comment on this thread mentioned it's kind of like disposable razors. I agree. I was surprised at how bad it was on it's first time use. I can't even imagine using the same cartridge again tomorrow. The blades pulled on my skin a bit too much. It was very coarse and I got a couple nicks (though that can happen with any cartridge). I had to shave for longer with more passes to get my head to the usual level of smoothness. And even then a couple of spots didn't seem as smooth (I make multiple passes in various directions trying to get to 'BBS', as they say in shaving lingo). And afterwards it burned much more than usual when I used after-shave. Overall, it was a decidedly inferior experience.
The razor came with two cartridges and a $3 manufacturer coupon for refill cartridges. I won't be using the coupon and not even the second cartridge. It was a $2 gamble that didn't pay off. I'll get back to using Gillette ProGlide or my double edge razor with Feather blades.
