Just stop. Everyone knows these Adorama-Klipsch "deals" are sponsored/paid-for advertisements. Every. one. What value do you really think there is pretending otherwise?
Combine this with a $250 receiver and you've got a darn good entry into home theater.
Just wanted to throw my hat in the ring. I've had this system for about 2 years, and couldn't be happier. For the price this is an absolute steal of a system, and truly a great budget setup. I've been extremely happy with movies music and video games with these. 10/10! Also adorama is great, also highly recommended.

These aren't even good deals; they look nice but they don't sound any better than a budget 5.1. Everyone reading this, your best bet is to buy a pair of RP-5000 tower speakers and build from there. Those two speakers (even without a center channel / subwoofer) will absolutely blow your mind and completely envelop you in sound. They throw bass insanely well. Get some budget rear speakers if you absolutely must get surround, but if what you're after is premiere sound, get those towers before anything else and you'll be 100000% satisfied until you continue building out your system.

Maybe I'm nit picking or mild OCD, but on my R610F the driver is not perfectly centered inside the trim ring. instead it sits all the way to right and bottom. 🤷 Bought them 2 weeks ago and considering calling and angling for some kind of discount am I being dramatic?

That's definitely not right. I have 4 of them and they're all centered.

So if this is allegedly 1500 package that sells for 600 is really an entry level, can some of you knowledgeable guys suggest a better set that is "3k" but sells for 1-1.5k? Will be used for movies, TV shows and games only, no music.

Should I invest in Dolby Atmos ? I just need a center, 2 standings and subwoofer. I think 3.1? I don't have a way to run cables to get the 5.1 effect. Any recommendations?

Hey all, I will be new to the projector world and also AV receiver as far as sound. I plan on running 2 Polk Audio 265-RT 3-way In-Wall Speaker as my fronts and polk center speakers and also 2 in ceiling as my atmos speakers. I'm just a fan of Polk because they give out really good nice deep clean bass. IMO they are comparable to BOSE. They might be even better now. I will also be running a Polk Audio HTS Powered Subwoofer 12" Woofer, up to 400W Amp. Should I get 2 smaller sub woofer or this one should be good. Reason why im asking is because I will be moving into my new house and plan on doing the home Theater thing with a 4k projector. I know nothing about AV receivers. I would like to find an AV that will run that set up. I know what brand of audio I like but just a noobie with this AV receiver. I'm coming from having a Samsung Q90R sound bar with Atmos so it's practically just plug and play. I was going to use my sound bar but a wise person told me I will need way better audio if i plan on running what I plan on doing.

Here is my take on this.
If you are moving soon just wait to move, every layout/environment is different so things will change in the new layout/environment.

The only "wise person" when it comes to what you "like" when listening is YOU.
So if you like something why change it, if it sounds good now and if sounds good at your new place there is no reason to change IMO.

You have to remember sound is completely subjective so what might be great for one person might be bad to another.
Ultimately there is no right answer for everyone.

Look carefully speaker #1 positioned at the absolute bottom of it's trim

Look carefully speaker #2 is positioned to the very left, and bottom of it's trim

Another issue I had is the screw holes for the feet weren't pre-drilled deep enough.... Coming from sound bars and HTIBs couldn't be more happier with the sound however maybe Im over hyping it, just expected better build quality form Klipsch

The inherent problem here, you're asking for opinions on the performance differences of something vs the "worth" of it's difference.
Example:
Staying with Klipsch some(maybe most) may say the RP8000 package deal would be a better performance.
Now is the performance "worth" the extra money will be highly debatable, ultimately you would have to listen for yourself to find out.

If you can't listening to them prior to buying, you might have to just gamble on one of them and see how it sounds to you.

If you can't do "5.1 effect" I would suggest not investing in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 is pretty much mandatory to move up to object based soundtracks.

You could try using wireless but that will be hit-n-miss and performance may not be worth the hassle.
It is subjective so some people have found it good enough for them.

Coming from just a soundbar, will this entry level system be worth it? I'm not too picky.

Well depends who you ask.
Most people will agree this would perform better than a most soundbars.
Now whether is it's "worth" the possible cost difference and the hassle will be debatable.

I'm pretty sure a big reason you choose that soundbar was for the convenience of not running all the wires and needing a receiver.
So whether it's "worth" it to you to do all that to get "better" performance/sound no one can answer for you.

I would point out if you have never listened to Klipsch, you might want to see if you can find somewhere to do so beforehand.
They are an acquired taste so you want to make sure you like their sound or not before buying them.

If you can't listen to this specific model, any model will actually do to find out if you like their sound.

Each model has their different sound signature but it is not a night and day difference IMO.

Makes sense. Currently in a different room I have polk monitor 60s, cs2 center and 2x owm3 for sides and 4 of them for atmos, with svs pc2000 sub. Would you say this package is an upgrade or a downgrade, at least for the front stage? I realize svs sub might be better than this one here.

Having listened to both IMO they are at the same performance level.

It would only be an "upgrade" if you had an issue with the Polk's and these changed it to the "better".
That's taking into account you like their sound.
