Had no problem whatsoever with my sawhorse order.

You can't lump every Ace Store into one. They're franchises and are all independently managed. I've got 3 well run stores nearby and 1 ran by a bunch of grumpy assholes. If you're doing home projects consistently, you should already know which of your neighborhood stores are legit.

I hate these people that can't be patient. And maybe you've had so many issues because you are the problem.

I did manage to get the masonry bits ordered today and although online cancelled 1
of them, at least I should be able to get the remaining 2 tomorrow.

Definitely gets my business over the big box stores. The staff is actually helpful/knowledgeable with loads of experience. Call me old fashioned but I actually enjoy supporting a local business.

Thanks for adding value to this SD rather than using your one comment to make assumptions. I've purchased around 100 SD's and less than 10% of the time there are issues, and 80% of the time the workers are glad to transact the deal so they are aware it exists. Usually issues are with the computer system not properly handling the deal. Every now and then you get a cry baby worker that sound a lot like you.
PS - The vinyl/plastic package on the bits is interesting so open with caution in order to eliminate the adhesive tearing the plastic

Great deal, especially on the masonry bit set.
Good timing, as I just picked up a single 1/2" masonry bit from my local Menards tonight, which I need to use tomorrow.
Fortunately, my local Ace Hardware is only 3 blocks away from the Menards, and Ace has all of it in stock. So I can pick up from Ace and return the $4.50 single bit to Menards.

BTW, I was hoping that "DeWalt 31 pc. Screwdriver Set 2 in".set had 2" long bits, but I see they're actually all 1" bits with apparently a separate 2" extension.
The way they title that set is a bit (pun intended) misleading.

If you don't need the Masonsry bits now, you may want to hold out for Bosch or Milwaukee. Project Farm did a good comparison and Dewalt did not do as well. Someone please feel free to correct.

Went to pickup my bits at Ace today and they only had 1 set. Manager said they ran out and that she had to order more. Also promised me that I could still get them for the Same price after she has them back in stock. Like I said before, my local Ace store is really good about working with customers.
