No, it's an independent service. You don't need both. I have both and PS Now is a much better value. I think there is like 300-400 Downloadable games now along with another 300-400 that you can stream that are PS3 games. PS3 emulation is a nightmare, if you aren't familiar, but the streaming works well enough for my kids to play the PS3 Disney games.

You don't need Plus to play PS Now games online. That goes for both streaming and downloading.

I second this. I rather pay a little more for PSN instead of PS+.

Thanks. I found that Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2 are remakes of the original episodes 1 and 2 of the series. So I started with Kiwami and plan to go from 1-6 this summer. So far it has been a lot of fun but nothing like a turn-based rpg... definitely lots of real-time action.

That is said, I found PSNow has only Yakuza 4 and 5 while Xbox pass has all 6.

While checking I also found PSNow has now added Nioh...

If you like turn-based RPGs, you will 100% love "Like a Dragon." All the characters even have hilarious "summons" that you could use. It's funny how Xbox has it all now when initially these games were only available on the PS.
