I have a kidizoom that is going on 5 years, that thing has taken a beating, gets used daily by two kids, still works, they erase stuff and take more photos, use all the filters and silly stuff. On the other side they have 2 old point and shoots and an old camcorder, they always need for me to fix the battery compartment and it took them longer to know how to use, plus one of them broke already.
I don't have this specific one but if you have little kids and you don't plan on getting the stuff they do off the camera, get it
My 5 year old got this cam for christmas and loves it. It's durable and has a ton of features that he can play with. The quality is one notch above potato, but at the price point, it will keep your kid entertained for a long time. Stick a 32gb or 64gb micro sd card in and it will last a long time. I think we paid closer to $100 for this and was still worth it.
For everyone saying just buy an old camera, that's where I started. I gave him my old canon and he broke the lens retraction within a week...

It's actually all about that, save your cash and buy an old cannon it's better and works faster and is easier to use and equally as durable. We bought this for our daughter she loves taking photos the photos are awful and it's slow and the interface is not smart at all. I got her an older canon PowerShot for like 20 bucks and she loves it and uses it all thw time.
Where is the "thumbs up he's right but too douchy" rep button?
edit: Sometimes a bad product does that to you. I had a very old version of VTech camera and I wouldn't ever trust them for that again. For a 2 year old to just look through the viewfinder and say "click" it's fine. But 1 time she saw it take a picture so now she wants me to fix it, but crappy can't be fixed. When she turned 5 she got an old Nikon and loving it. She takes great pictures that I shared with the family.

It's early my apologies on my douche level.. This shit camera annoyed the hell out of me and was constantly a problem. Once we snagged and old power shot she could just have fun!
These are really cool cameras. We bought one for our 7yr daughter few months ago. Very cool.
Don't expect HD quality but it's still a nice fun toy for the kids to take pictures and silly movies.

Packaging says you can use up to a 32gb sd card. Have you tried a 64gb? I only have 64gb sd cards and was wondering if i needed to order a 32
