I'm assuming these must have a built-in amp, but there is no information about it. I'm considering using these in my existing home theater setup with my existing amp, due to their versatility and the ability to bring these outside. Anyone have any thoughts on using these in a 5.1 setup?

Specs sound like 10amp max which puts it around 1000 watts max @ 115 volts
On top of that, the running power consumption is listed at 110 watts.
Reviews are good though, weird.
Correct. Easy to remember: "Change" divided by "original amount"

This is very common for PA speakers. E.g. if you look at a ETX 35p or a ksq kw181 they are only 1/1.5A @ 120V despite being rated "2000W"
