Some interesting RMS power claims on that 1500 watt system.

Specs sound like 10amp max which puts it around 1000 watts max @ 115 volts

On top of that, the running power consumption is listed at 110 watts.

Reviews are good though, weird.

1500 watt would destroy this device in a couple of seconds.

If the price was $300 but is now $185, what percentage would that be?

Are these any good for listening to music compared Sonos or Bose or any other good bookshelf speakers?

Correct. Easy to remember: "Change" divided by "original amount"

Cue the Maxell Blown Away Guy, I prefer the Max Hell version from "Stay Tuned" myself.

I'm assuming these must have a built-in amp, but there is no information about it. I'm considering using these in my existing home theater setup with my existing amp, due to their versatility and the ability to bring these outside. Anyone have any thoughts on using these in a 5.1 setup?

So the back of the unit states the rated input is 160W. There is no feasible way for it to be 1500W RMS. Most likely it is 1500W PMPO.

This is very common for PA speakers. E.g. if you look at a ETX 35p or a ksq kw181 they are only 1/1.5A @ 120V despite being rated "2000W"
