Thanks for sharing. Groupon Local Deals are so barebones these days in most locations that they're not as great as during their heyday, unfortunately. Even when I receive 80% and 90% off codes, and $10 off $11 codes, I barely have anything to use them on nowadays.

I do use them occasionally to buy vouchers for car washes.

I had an order that sold out and Groupon could only give me Groupon Bucks as compensation. It took my credit card company going after them to get my money back.

I probably just had a newbie for a customer service rep. But I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem with them?

I probably have 3-4 'local deals' from Groupon that I never used and are only worth the original amount paid to Groupon which makes it basically not worth using.

30% off is basically the weakest targeted deal groupon runs. 40-50% off or 10 off 11 are the best ones I see get offered.
