I'm holding out for the long term $40-$60 sale price. I feel like buying most recreational and workout gear is catching a falling knife right now. They're trying to milk what's left of those historically high prices

These were an insane price during covid ($250-300). I originally bought the double and used it three times before selling it and trading in for the single. I've been able to use it on multiple trips. I prefer the single as I found it annoying to row with a friend, but if I were any taller (I'm 5'4") I think I'd want the double and just use it by myself.

These are normally reviewed favorably for their durability and construction. I think as long as they are not abused (sharp rocks and sticks) then you should get several years out of them. Normally, pre-covid, these would get down below 60 very regularly. If they do that again I will get one for the kids for sure.

Think of this more as a toy to get you out on the water, which is absolutely fine....... but it's not a touring kayak. Each paddle will propel you slightly forward and almost as much sideways.

$60 if more my style for something like this, think I'll wait for a price like that.

I recommend looking for a used Sea Eagle 330 or 370, they are excellent and will be a better kayak

It's crazy how these were $47 a couple times in 2019 and now $97 is a great deal.
