I have been waiting for this to go on sale for awhile. I am surprised how well it works compared to the electric model.

FYI I think for rotary hammers the largest bit you want to use is 1/2 of the listed size. So in this case it'd be a 1/2" bit.

I have this unit and it works great. Insane the difference in performance when drilling into concrete vs a hammer drill. Literally 10x easier than my dewalt hammer drill, no joke. Drills like butter.

Why do you think that?

I was researching rotary hammers and I read that you don't want to use a (for example) 1" bit in a 1" drill. Maybe something about overloading it?

Home Depot and Lowes show it as XR as well. Curious

So OP waited for yours to arrive before you informed the rest of us about the deal? 🤬

This is not an XR model, it's also an SDS+ only chuck which means you can't use regular bits in it.

All these people complaining don't seem to know the difference between a rotary hammer and a regular drill with hammer function...

Why would you say this isn't XR? XR means the tools is brushless, which this is.
