FYI I think for rotary hammers the largest bit you want to use is 1/2 of the listed size. So in this case it'd be a 1/2" bit.

I have this unit and it works great. Insane the difference in performance when drilling into concrete vs a hammer drill. Literally 10x easier than my dewalt hammer drill, no joke. Drills like butter.

I was researching rotary hammers and I read that you don't want to use a (for example) 1" bit in a 1" drill. Maybe something about overloading it?

This is not an XR model, it's also an SDS+ only chuck which means you can't use regular bits in it.
