I've had mine since (older hardware) 2009 and it's been rock solid. To be honest, we really don't need a landline, but since it just sits there and keeps on chugging away, we've kept it. Now that I think about it, I can't remember the last time I used the cordless phone.

Same here. I've had the original equipment since 2009 and it's working solid. Being grandfathered into no taxes is nice. Service works flawlessly.
I have the original ooma device, bought in 2010, and still works perfectly fine. I use it with grandfathered plan and do not pay any taxes - $0 per month. So I was wondering if I my plan will be un-grandfathered if I upgrade to this.
