I bought these 2 years ago. They are holding up well. Like other All Clad and other quality cookware, they are thicker so the heat is more evenly distributed.

And the rule of thumb of having better longevity of non stick pots and pans, 1) don't use metal utensils or the non stick surface will be damaged. 2) save the high heat cooking on the stainless steel. Use medium or medium high at the most. 3) let the pan cool before dumping cold water on it.

And never ever put your pans in the dishwasher, regardless of what the manufacturer says.

So, as someone who has both Tfal Titanium, and then All clad (D5?) Non-stick:

What is the reason to buy the lower essentials priced all-clad vs the cheaper high end Tfal?

The same parent company owns each, so I'm just trying to understand what quality runs where. Obv this is a great price (!) And it's worth getting if you need nonstick of these sizes.

FYI these pans are cheaper junk than the same ones they made 2 years ago - totally different quality. All Clad has gone downhill with these non-sticks

Tfal is terrible no matter what model you get. That's why you buy a good brand.

The slightly better quality anodized pans are also on sale for $10 more. These have a steel bottom on the outside. I've had this set for a few years and love it: https://www.macys.com/shop/produc...ID=2675318

Erm.

I've had great luck and I love them.

They've been working about as well as the All-clads, if not better in some cases.

I'm sorry that you've not had similar success Frown

Code also works on the 8" and 10" hard anodized set, bringing it down to $40.

ughh, these .5" sizes aren't going to fit the lids I have, and the anodized standard size ones are OOS.
