I really like the ecoflow ecosystem but $550 is still too much for 1024 kWh when we've seen Bluetti AC180 for $330.

while all the brands like this have the same problem people should be aware

1. it's not really 10ms

2. it's not really pure sinewave

3. it will happily let bad power through (brownouts) because it's not a real UPS

4. the 30db is only at less than 600watt output

5. ecoflow has accidentally bricked units with some firmware updates

that said I am happy enough with my Delta3-1500 refub for $450 from ebay stacked coupons earlier this year

it's technically only 20ms but so far my computer has never rebooted or had other power problems and I have fans and A/C plugged into it too

it also tends to have cooling problems as well.

capacity is not the only comparison. compared to AC180, Delta 3 Plus has double the solar input, less noise (45db to 30db) faster USB-C (140w) and faster UPS switch over (<10ms to 20ms) Delta 3 Plus is just newer, so for many AC180 just doesn't work for many use cases or preferences. And most would probably tell you the EF app/features are far better.. nonetheless choice is good for the industry and market.

but if you're looking specifically for Delta 3 Plus today - brand new you won't CURRENTLY find a better price and it's not even close

That's all fine, but the vast majority of these will never see a solar connection. They will sit connected to the grid waiting for an outage. If you're a homesteader, camper, or boater buy what you need. Otherwise, it's hard to justify $200 extra for reduced capacity.

and that's all fine, all i'm suggesting is the comparison is not equal. AC180 more comparable to D2 if capacity is your main point - D2 has also been seen mid $300's. like most anything else, want the latest greatest, higher spec, features and options it usually costs more

You keep saying "the sky is blue, the sky is blue" and I'm saying "the sky isn't blue enough to pay $200 extra." Do what you want to do.

ok? so don't? you keep wanting to compare a higher priced unit (with more feature and higher spec) to a lower priced unit and lower spec unit. compare it to D2 then.

When the new iPhone comes out, I expect you to be back here harassing everyone into buying the new model instead of saving hundreds of dollars on the iPhone 16 that's good enough for most people.

what are you going on about? this will be the third time i'm saying you want to compare a older lower spec AC180 to something compare it to similar spec Delta 2. if capacity is your only game, absolutely save a couple hundred on AC180 or D2 and absolutely DO NOT BUY the newest Delta 3 Plus.

harassing? your comprehension of different levels/specification of products is funny.
carry on with your unreasonable and irrational apples to oranges comparisons

October is coming up. When that new iPhone drops, I expect your comment "You're not allowed to compare the value of the new generation against the old generation! You can only compare the same generation!" on every tech news site, blog, and video. Most ridiculous take ever.
