8gb local storage for 2k quality? I wonder, what's the quality for 2 months recording. I couldn't find anywhere that it's expandable with microSD

The solar powered one seems appealing if you have a good spot for it.

Anker? Yeah, I don't need the Chinese having video footage of the inside of my home.

Seriously, there are so many cheap camera companies and you're posting the Chinese Amazon spammers? You know they really only came around because they spammed their junk on Amazon constantly.
Do you know of any cheap cameras that arent chinesium?

Eufy is pretty good. I've been using their wired cameras. I don't see it any different than the other camera companies like Ring or Arlo. For people like me who don't want to pay cloud storage, there aren't many options. Most others want to grab monthly or annual fees and then you are at their mercy.

Plus, I use it for external surveillance so not much privacy issues unless people feel worried about recordings of people gardening or lawnmowing. I believe all these new battery powered cams are intended for outdoor usage.

As someone that has used kuna, ring, eufy, and arlo...eufy has been by far the best for decent local storage.

Also..what's wrong with Anker? They make super high quality chargers and cables.

That tinfoi hat isn't going to keep you from getting abducted from aliens. They're still around because their products actually work and are reliable. Also please go find other "cheap camera companies" that don't have their products made in China. Find any company actually lol..

Also.. It's highly doubtful that something like that would happen where video footage of your home would be obtained and even more doubtful that anyone would find any use out of the video footage gained from you with a dumb comment like that.

For one you have to pay $1.99 to preorder which is pretty BS.

$2 on a $200 item to save even more lol. You're getting a free 2k indoor cam.. Worth $40. Easily sold for $30.

As someone who's owned Ring/Nest/etc... cameras, the devil is in the detail and none of these services hit the street without core problems...and many iterations of software.

This is interesting, but a hold and see...

What is the advantage to these over the other eufy wireless cameras?

I already have a home base, so wouldn't it be better to stick with the original ones?
