I don't see any other discounts or incentives going on right now..doesn't seem like there's too much of a deal to be had here. I'll check again off mobile.

Hoping this EV version is much better than the reliability of their others. Like Jerry of the Car Pro Show says, Volvos, BMW, Mercedes, and especially Range Rovers should all be sold off before they hit 100,000 miles due to expensive repairs like transmissions, engines, etc. My mechanic said his kids college costs were mostly funded from Range Rover repairs.

Truer words have never been said...my wife's Benz ~115k miles is at the dealer for a failed transmission. I'm probably looking at something between $8-10k for a car worth $14k.

Pretty high, but it's a full plug-in electric.
Edmunds says it's sold around $58k

Ouch! Thing is these MB's are such great drivers with rock solid build quality.

For anyone more knowledgeable on this; is a base XC60 with this deal worth it? I love the vehicle and need to get a second car. I've never leased before. I see folks who work as 'brokers' - is this a good deal in general to work with them?

Couldn't agree more. Used to really like the Range Rover but heard so many horror stories so I avoided it. Friend just had a Mercedes that had a transmission problem which was going to cost more than half the price of the vehicle.
Now with EV that's a different ball game. You can take advantage of the I think $7500 federal tax credit for full EV for all makes except Tesla and GM since they met their 200K vehicle sales. With that being said, i think they're trying to past the bill to increase the tax credit to $12k which would be a great incentive. But that $12k comes with a lot of stipulation like vehicle has to be made in the US(which i'm all for) and has to be from a union plant (which i have no idea how a consumer is supposed to know). So my only guess would be the new F150 electric truck that would meet all that criteria.

Someone should tell Jerry that BMW's constantly rank higher in dependability than Ford or Chevy and even sometimes Honda.

Lol..BMW was a no show: https://www.caranddriver.com/rese...able-cars/

Sorry, getting rid of the BMW before it hits 100,000 is the smart thing to do. Go visit a local automotive repair shop and there you will find your answer first hand.
