Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

Don't they have 10% sales? You don't get redcard 5% odd when you use GC, so the 5% off GCs is a wash. Most people here have a redcard.

This person is just hyping mediocrity.

Avoid this sale if you're a Red Card member. Gift Cards discounted 5 percent off do you absolutely no good.

I agree with this being a mediocre deal, but how do you know that most people on this forum have a redcard?

Wrong. If you pay for them with a 2 percent back card like a Citi Double Cash then you're getting 7 percent back instead of 5 percent with the Red Card.

It would be 6.9% not 7%

Not worth the trouble. Why can't they do these things different weeks? It's a lot of work to try and keep up with 7 different companies putting things on random sales for 48 hours. I get it, they're trying to take advantage of hype. but if they did their own thing it would mean more people could use it. Why split the hype with Amazon?

For red card members also remember that when you pay with gift cards you get the 1% back in circle points. Not saying it is necessarily worth the hassle but there is a little benefit.

I don't think it's math. I think it's nucular physics.
