I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Signed up in branch today. ... Just called and asked if the 100k deal was still on and he said yes, in branch only.
This is not true. The 100K bonus is available both in-branch and online, via referral link.

I know this thread is for a Chase card and UR and my question is about a CITI ThankYou points, but the end result is the same for both cards, so here it goes for the credit card bonus redemption gurus Wink

I received an email saying that for a limited time (until 11/18) I can transfer my ThankYou points to American Airlines AAdvantage. I've never redeemed UR or ThankYou points for travel in the past, but we moved to a different state and travel is now going to be part of our lives. Is this the best way of cashing out ThankYou points?

Thanks in advance!

Easy way to find out.
Just open a Chrome browser in incognito mode and open the referral URL in it.

That's exactly what I did, it showed I'm sharing 100k but when I opened the link it shows 60k signup bonus.

Odd.
Mine shows both 100k on both the creation of the link & the launch of the link.

Referral link should've been generated before the online offer ended last week to fet the 100k referral bonus. If you did, it would show 100k sign up bonus. If referral link was generated after, referral link would only show 60k.

You're right, I clicked on my own link I shared with someone a few weeks ago and that one shows 100k on signup page. It's so odd that the new referral generated shows I'm sharing 100k link still even though signup will show 60k, you'd think these banks worth hundreds of billions wouldn't have these simple discrepancies.

This is true as my link is still showing 100K points while my spouse's link shows 60K since she generated her referral for her sister after the end date. Her sister ended up using my referral to secure the 100K points and she was approved.

On the top of the referral generator page it shows 100k for everyone since that's the max you can earn in referrals (20k x 5 referrals) -- if you scroll down the page then it shows the offer that the person applying will receive with your link (60k bonus for them)

Is there a way to call Chase about the referral? I opened a card a month ago (still have not gotten a statement ) but the person that referred me said they didnt get anything yet and showed me a screenshot saying they still have 100k points to refer (5 referrals to give out)

The referral credit will be posted to the referrer's account after your billing cycle closes. If you have not got a statement yet, the person who referred you will not get the credit. Unfortunately, there is no way to check to referral status due to privacy issues.

Agreed. To add to that:
• The referrer never receives the referral bonus until the new cardholder activates their new card and makes their first purchase.
• The referrer never sees the bonus until their (the referrer's) statement is generated. Bonus points are posted on the referrer's cycle date (statement generation date).
• Sometimes the bonus is awarded on the referrer's first statement after the new cardholder activates and makes a purchase, but more often, they do not post until the referrer's second statement.

How do you know if you'll get credit for the old 100K referral link? Since new links generated are only 60K.
