Just got around to trying out a pair of these today that I got from a previous. The temperature and humidity are showing over 5 degrees in temp and 5% difference in humidity while sitting right next to each other. Don't give me much confidence in their accuracy.
These are 2.05" x 2.05" and take a CR2450 button battery. I think I'd prefer the 2.28"x2.44" AAA version. $10 each.

Similar Xiaomi ones can be had for ~$16 for 4 pack. When staff post these 'deals' they magically get a bunch of TUs and ends up on FP in no time.

I can't find the 4 pack deal anymore, but a quick search shows this 6 pack for $27: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124589066080

Have 4 of the other ones from Govee and they are within tenths of each other. as someone else mentioned, it takes time for it to settle.

I believe it's $27 each and not for a 6 pack.

I have 2 different govee thermometers that read within 1 degree. If not, there is a calibration adjustment in the app.

These get down to -4F. Was looking to get one to monitor/test my freezer temps which are on the fritz but was hoping it had a lower range. Btw, avoid Samsung refrigerators.

Is there a widget for the Govee or Xiaomi devices which would allow you to see the sensor data at a glance without having to open an app?

Was shopping these recently and decided against Bluetooth ones bc it seems they can only be monitored locally or need additional hub device to be monitored remotely. Got a wifi one instead like $22 that can be monitored remotely and has automation options, iirc it was tuya compatible if anyone's looking

I'd get one if Govee didn't completely suck with Google home. I can never tie my account to google home, it always says it worked but it never shows up.

Get the AAA battery versions, they get on sale for the same price periodically. Saves you a lot of money on batteries. I really like these sensors, and have placed them in many places around the house and out (under a cover). I have 6, will add more.

I almost picked it up until I realized this isn't the AAA version. I have 2 and they are pretty accurate and handy for all sorts of situations; 3d printing monitor, room temp adjustment, fridge or freezer testing and alert during power outage, etc

I bought two of this brand and two of the thermal pro from Amazon. Each brand had almost the same temp and humid reading but 5% differences between brands. I keep Govee just because it has Bluetooth.

I also think WiFi makes more sense. that's why I don't want to buy BT one. which one did you buy?

I am currently using this setup on an extra fridge/freezer in the garage. I have the main unit on the outside of the fridge so not sure about range. The info it reports is nice - current temp, highest/lowest temp range.
