My final quarter in college, after not doing much gaming since freshman year, I got JA2 and binged it for the entire first week. Skipped every class. Stopped only to eat twice a day and to sleep at night. Didn't even bother to save my game ever. Friday afternoon my PC froze. I screamed. It was 18 years before I played another video game, thanks to COVID isolation.

So, that's my way of saying, Jagged Alliance is probably worth the $0.30.

Absolutely phenomenal game. In my top 5, hands down. If you can't get it for free, I'd still recommend it, especially for just a few $$$.

Play the vanilla game first, and once you beat that install the 1.13 mod [pbworks.com]. It increases the available items by an order of magnitude, fixes a ton of bugs, and revitalizes what was already a stunning game. Beyond that, there are a bunch of mods that actually change the story, levels, etc. Practically infinitely replayable.

First time one of these Gamivo deals worked for me. Tip: sort by lowest price. The one I found was $0.26 sold by illumination or something.
