Any idea if SSD can be upgraded on this. I did google search first before asking, but I hate how on some of these newer laptops it's extremely difficult (sometimes near impossible) to determine when RAM/SSD/etc can be upgraded. I miss the old days...
But anyways, I did see that the RAM is soldered. I was just curious about upgrading storage. TIA!

Check review from Lisa [MobileTechReview]. Even though it has 11th Gen i7, due to thermal limitations, the graphics performance is not as great as it should have been. Just an fyi b/c it has been coming for around $900 quite often via my EPP and I have been on the fence and am restraining myself b/c of graphics performance limitations
$1200 for a low-performance 4-core CPU and no dedicated graphics? For this price you can get a ryzwn 5800H + RTX 3060. Also I'd expect a 1TB SSD in a laptop over 1k. This "deal" is not really a deal when you carefully go over the specs. Maybe around $500-600 it might be an slickdeal.

2.64 lbs and 4K display explains a minor bit of the price
I'd say this is still a good deal, not great but still good. The hardware specs are standard for the price but it's the weight/thinness and 4k that make it slightly better. Can anyone speak for how hot or quiet it runs?

Curious on how quiet it can run too. I hate loud laptop fan noise.

There are other uses for computers other than gaming.

Everything in this form factor throttles with intense tasks like benchmarks, rendering, gaming, its a thin and light 'ultrabook' style.
This is the kind of laptop you buy to take actually use the mobility of it. You can buy heavier and thicker higher performance laptops, but if youre taking it to work everyday and walking around with it, that can get old.
As for pricing, this is actually not expensive for a premium thin and light with a quality screen like this.

The latest MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 13 tends to disagree with your sentiments both in performance aspects and *mobility* argument
